Hi;
I worked with Melissa on several photoshoots for my personal style blog when I was living in Oregon. Now that I'm far away, I really miss working with her. If I ever find myself on the west coast in the future, I would go out of my way to work with her again .
Melissa is very open to what you bring to the table in terms of your ideas, energy and personality. I feel like she brought out the best in me in terms of 1. modeling and 2. getting the most flattering photos possible. Regarding point 1, Melissa always made me feel super comfortable and at ease. Her ego doesn't get in the way of the work or your feelings. Regarding point 2, she will shoot angles that are flattering to your body and face and doesn't publish those that aren't. She also respected certain requests of mine, for example that I rarely like profile photos. (That being said, she has gotten a great profile shot of me.)
If you have a painterly and/or vintage vision, Melissa's aesthetic will work for you.She edits photos in a way that complements the overall mood or era being conveyed.
In short, Melissa is super sweet, talented and a dream to work with.

I'm glad these two are finally working together...I got tired of trying to figure out who I should call, or recommended, to do a photo shoot. These ladies are like the best of two worlds, one produces photos that are rich, thick, and dreamy, and the other, photos that are modern, surreal, and flirtatious.
